Dorothy Elaine Latham, 94, of Loves Park, Illinois, passed away on April 24, 2022, at her residence in Loves Park, Illinois.
She was born March 25, 1928, in Sadorus, Illinois to the late “Mac” Frederick McKinley and Frieda (Bialeschki) Reeker. Dorothy is survived by her son, John Wesley Latham of Loves Park, Illinois; sister-in-law, Shirley Reeker of Mount Vernon, Illinois; brother-in-law, Bob Hughes of O’ Fallon, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheilah Taylor, and siblings, Beverly Hughes and Fred Reeker.
Dorothy loved to garden. She was a wonderful cook and will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Jim Peak officiating.
