Jodee Rae Campbell, 25, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 4:58 pm April 10, 2022 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She suffered from Ehlers-Danlos Type IV. This caused Jodee several complications to her vascular and connective tissue during her surgery that she was unable to overcome. Jodee was the proud co-owner and operator of Botanical Babes Boutique. She enjoyed running her own business and playing the flute. Most of all, she cherished the time shared with her family. Jodee was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed until we meet again.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with Mr. Jon Henninger officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. She married Scott Campbell on October 21, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Jodee was born October 4, 1996 in Mount Vernon. Jodee was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Steele grandparents, Don Olivier, Jim Scott and D’Ella, and Ray and Claudia Cole; and great-grandmother, Yvonne Kowatch.
