2022 04/08 – Robert Watson

Robert Watson, born on January 9, 1977, departed this life on April 3, 2022. He was the loving son of Donna Trainor and stepson of Jack Trainor of Centralia and son of Dennis Watson of Imperial, Missouri. He married twice and they survive Christina Duncan of Collinsville and Carla Watson of Centralia.

Robert was a wonderful son and father who loved his children Jonathon Watson of Centralia, Courtney Watson and fiancé Drew McClain of Centralia, Kacie Watson of Collinsville, and Jacob Watson of Centralia; stepdaughter of Kindra Parris of Centralia; and granddaughter Aubrey Watson.

Also mourning his passing are his sisters Stacey McIver and husband Carey of Oakville, Missouri, and Tina Addison and husband David of House Springs, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great-aunts & uncles, and good friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother Kevin Watson; an aunt; and his grandparents.

Bobby leaves behind many good friends and family. He was employed for BNSF as a conductor. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, motorcycle riding and working in the yard. He enjoyed playing poker and other card games and was very competitive in betting. Bobby had an amazing sense of humor and was a great prankster, trying to outdo his last prank on his nieces. Known as “chef Bobby” he was famous for grilling and making his wonderful tortellini soup. He had a zest for life and made the best of every moment, singing his favorite songs and always having a good time. Bobby liked to go mudding with four-wheelers. His son Jacob was his mini-me, looking up to him and wanting to be just like him. He always enjoyed traveling and sharing it with those he loved. Bobby was a loyal friend, devoted to family, and everyone’s favorite. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment will follow at Pratt Cemetery in Patoka. Friends are welcome to a visitation time from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Robert’s honor to his Family’s Wishes.
