Christopher Ernest Hendricks, Jr.,70, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:23 P.M on March 20, 2022 at SSM Good Samaritan Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Christopher was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Chris and Lisa traveled a lot and enjoyed spending time together. Chris loved spending time with his family and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand and he loved to golf. Chris was a member of Eagles Lodge, Mt. Vernon American Legion and was retired from Walgreens Distribution Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Christopher married Lisa Davis on May 4, 1982. Christopher is survived by his wife, Lisa Hendricks of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; three sons, Christopher Franklin Hendricks, Shawn (Heather) Hendricks, Christopher Ernest(Ariel) Hendricks, III; grandchildren, Ashley Dohr, Austin Hendricks, Rylan Hendricks, Emma Hendricks, Levi Hendricks, Kady Hendricks, Eli Hendricks, Avery Kabat and Alaina Kabat; sister, Susie Coffman; brother, John (Denise) Hendricks; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Christopher Ernest Hendricks, Jr. was born on August 11, 1951 in Wood River, Illinois to Christopher E. Hendricks and Blanche Mae (Bowermaster) Hendricks. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Richard, JoAnn, and Dora, and granddaughter, Christina.
