Bruce W. Mattmiller, Sr., 65, of Centralia, passed away March 8, 2022, at his home in Centralia.
He was born August 26, 1956 in Centralia, the son of Donald D. Mattmiller and Julia A. (Mondy) Mattmiller. He married Antoinette L. Marshall, on December 23, 1976, in Centralia and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Michael (Jena) Mattmiller of Centralia, Nicholas (Kristen) Mattmiller of Marion, Bruce (Courtney) Mattmiller, Jr. of Marion, Amanda (Larry) Shidle of Breeze, Christina (Austin) Baugh of Indiana, and Melissa Mattmiller (Brandon Shreve) of Centralia, along with 28 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Darrel (Vicki) Mattmiller, Charles (Margaret) Mattmiller, Donald (Faye) Mattmiller, and Donna Mattmiller. Sister-in-law: Patty (Don) Martin of Centralia and Brother-in-law Jeff (Cary) Marshall of Centralia. Also left to mourn his passing are his best friends Charlie Madison and Nancy Bowlby, William Fletcher all of Centralia.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers Rodney Mattmiller and Daniel Donoho.
Bruce was an over-the-road truck driver for Ed Lewis Trucking, Louisville, IL. He faithfully served in the U. S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
Visiting hours will be Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. The family invites you to join them at Elmwood Cemetery at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 15, 2022, for a graveside service. Military honors will be accorded at the grave by the Centralia American Legion Post #446 and the Centralia V.F.W Post #2055.
