Brenda Latchford, 71, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 6:15 am March 7, 2022 at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mount Vernon. Brenda was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her family.

Brenda is survived by her son, Lloyd Latchford and wife, Joyce of Granite City, Illinois; daughter, Helen Latchford of Mount Vernon, Illinois; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Metta and husband, Jimmy of Arkansas, Jeann Nicholas and husband, Larry of Arkansas, Jerrilyn Walton and husband, Craig of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born March 14, 1950 in Granite City, Illinois to Gerald Lee and Mary Helen Christy (Wallace) Angle. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Terry Latchford and daughters, Katherine Latchford and Amy Horn.
