Barbara Ann Forrest, 85, of The Colony, Texas passed away February 11, 2022. She married Phillip Forrest April 25, 1954. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University. Her passion was cooking for the family. After retiring from her Accounting career she liked to travel, she especially enjoyed visiting historical locations. She loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren participating in sports, music, theater, and other activities. She lived in Centralia, Illinois and McLeansboro, Illinois before moving to Texas in 1986. She resided in Lewisville and The Colony, Texas. She was proud and loved her family.
A service celebrating her life is scheduled for March 5, 2022 at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church, 4800 S Colony Blvd, The Colony, TX 75056.
She is survived by her daughter Dawn Forrest, son Randy (Carolyn) Forrest, daughter Robin (Howard) Hull. Grandchildren, Whitney Farmer, Haley McGee (Michael), Lauren McMillan (Johnny), Kelsey Forrest, Lindsey Forrest, Joshua Forrest, Elijah Hull. Great Grandchildren, Mikey Farmer, Cherokee Farmer, Maggie Farmer, Malcolm McGee, brother Gary (Jan) Carter and many nephews and nieces.
Barbara was born in Centralia Illinois. She was preceded in death by her Husband – Phillip Forrest, her parents Alfred and Ann Carter and brothers Jim Carter and Larry Carter.
