Darrell Glynn Russell, age 61, of Salem, passed away on Feb. 27, 2022, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on Feb. 10, 1961, the son of Jerry and Bessie (Hester) Russell.
Darrell was an electrician for many years and enjoyed music, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Bessie Russell of Salem; one son, Eric Russell and partner Rachel of Wellston, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jordan, Sebastian, and Precious, all of Wellston, Ohio; siblings, Cathy Purcell of Salem, Jerry W. Russell and wife Theresa of Salem, Cheryl Lusch and husband Rodney of Salem, Henry Russell and wife Julie of Iuka, Ronnie Russell and wife Crystal of Kell, James Russell and wife Tammy of Iuka, and Candy Hess and husband Kerry of Salem; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Russell; a sister-and-brother-in-law, Theresa and Rick Tracy; and a niece, Carrie Lee Warren.
