2022 02/26 – Ronald Crabtree

Ronald Crabtree, 58, of Centralia passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Crabtree was a self-employed entrepreneur. He loved raising his girls like boys. He loved taking them camping, four-wheeler riding, mudding, and mushroom hunting. He loved fishing and camping. He really enjoyed going to Carlyle Lake on the boat with his buddy Freddy Sligar. He loved back road cruising with his daughters. He enjoyed riding his bike. He loved taking stuff apart and putting it back together. Ronny’s family and friends were his pride and joy.

A Celebration of Life service was held in his memory at Greenview Christian Church. A benefit will be held on February 26, 2022, at Skippers Inn and those interested in helping can contact Heather Crabtree at 1618-335-8131. He is survived by five daughters: Teresa Boyce and husband Scotty of Centralia, Jennifer Walsh and husband Robert of Herrin, Cristina Crabtree and significant other Derek Kirgan, Heather Crabtree, and Donna Crabtree all of Centralia; and thirteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Charles Crabtree, Jeanette Schulte and husband Charles “Chuck”, Robin Thompson and husband Vance, and six half-siblings.

He was born August 28, 1963, in Centralia, the son of Robert and Doris Crabtree. He was with Tanga Rodgers, his soul mate, for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his life partner: Tanga Rodgers; his parents; and one daughter: Tabitha Warren.
