Ron Lueking, 74 of Richview, Illinois passed away at his home January 16, 2022. Ron retired from Ameren IP having worked in both Centralia and Mt. Vernon offices. He was a member of Hoffman Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as time permitted. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the chapel of Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with burial to follow in Richview Cemetery in Richview, IL. Visitation will be on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. It is important masks are worn and social distancing at the funeral home be respected. He married Jane (McCoy) on May 4, 1968 in Richview and she survives him in Richview. In addition to his wife Jane Lueking of 53 years, Ron is survived by three sons: Greg Lueking and wife Christina of Woodlawn, IL, Chad Lueking and wife Donna of Salem, IL and Jami Lueking and wife Julie of Richview, IL; grandchildren: Cassandra Lueking, Kiara Lueking, Callie Lueking, Brayden Lueking and Audrey Lueking; and his sisters: Barbara Eversgerd of Hoffman, IL and Sherry Kennett and husband Tony of Dieterich, IL.
Ron was born July 7, 1947 in Hoffman, Illinois, he was the son of Theodore W. and Elda (Schilling) Lueking who preceded him in death.
