By WJBD Staff Jan 13, 2021 | 4:08 PM

Michelle L. Smith, 48, of Mount Vernon, Illinois went to be with her Lord and Savior at 3:44pm on January 9, 2022 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. Michelle‘s bold and vibrant attitude could only be matched by her larger than life smile and blingy jewelry. She turned her love for bling into a job with Paparazzi as a Jewelry Consultant that helped fund her love for concerts and St. Louis baseball games. She worked the majority of her professional career at Select Remedy temp services. Her love for people and her passion for helping them succeed in life helped her climb the professional ladder. At the top of her career, she was a Regional Manager helping to open several locations, and managed lots of offices in neighboring states. Her passion for Jesus was no secret. Every Sunday you would find her either in the front row praising his name or backstage helping with the media team. Michelle never met a stranger and never missed a chance to make someone laugh. Her free time was spent shopping, hanging with friends/family, and explaining why she was late to most of it. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be dearly missed.
