Kirbi Janell Rinehart, age 31 of Salem, passed away at her home on Friday, January 7, 2022. Kirbi worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She attended Grace Church in Morton. She enjoyed drawing, reading and spending time with her family. Kirbi was the first from Salem High School to make it to the State level in bowling.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Private interment will be held in East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorial contributions can be made to the family or to DJ’s College Fund, with checks made payable to Tina Rinehart and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family. She is survived by her mother, Tina Rinehart of Salem; son, Darryll “D.J.” Wayne Kaufman Jr.; two sisters, Kandi Tyler and husband Reese of Sedalia, MO and Kelsi Rinehart of Carterville; nephews, Gavyn Opolony, Brayden Rinehart, Jaxen Rinehart, Malakeye Rinehart, and Ty Tyler; nieces, Nevaeh Tyler and Aaliyah Tyler; several cousins; several extended family members; and numerous friends.
Kirbi was born on May 17, 1990 in Mt. Vernon the daughter of Darrell W. and Tina (Olden) Rinehart. She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell W. Rinehart; and her grandparents, Carl and Esther Rinehart and Bruce and Babe Olden.
