Linda Webster, age 73 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Linda enjoyed sewing, crafting, and baking. She was known for her cakes that she made for weddings, birthdays, and many other occasions. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital as a Pathology Secretary after 40 years of employment.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Crouse Funeral Home on Thursday, January 6, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. with Jim McGrew officiating. She is survived by four children, Terry Webster and wife Kathy of New Washington, IN, Shelly Hodges of Huntington Beach, CA, Randall Webster and wife Lana of Salem, and Kim Schott of Troy; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Don Gerrish and wife Patty of Wayne City.
Linda was born on November 17, 1948 in Patoka the daughter of George and Lois (Lammers) Gerrish. She married Kenneth Webster; they later divorced. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tom Gerrish; and one sister, Susan Masonheimer.
