2022 01/05 – Charles “Marvin” Spell, Sr.

Charles “Marvin” Spell, Sr., 72, of Bluford, passed away December 26, 2021, at St. Louis University Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a roofer, and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Spell is survived by three sons, Thomas Spell and wife Maggie of Bluford, Randy Spell and wife Andrea of Bluford, and Jeff Wiggins and special friend Tammy of Mt. Vernon; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Sherry Gibbs.

He was born February 23, 1949, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the son of Charles C. and Rebecca (Brumley) Spell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Becky Spell; wife, Betty Spell; and son, Marvin Spell.
