Two men involved in separate altercations were formally charged with felony offenses in Marion County Court on Monday.

Bond was set at $20,000 for 28-year-old Justin Patten of West 9th Street in Sandoval on charges of aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint.  Patten was arrested following a December 22nd incident at a Junction City home where he allegedly grabbed the neck and prevented the victim from breathing.

Bond was set at $3,000 for 42-year-old Sean Polacek of Glen Carbon who was charged with unlawful restraint, domestic battery with a prior conviction and resisting a peace officer.  Polacek is accused of holding down the victim, slapping her face, and kicking her in the head.    He then allegedly ran from a Centralia Police Officer attempting to take him into custody.
