Donna Jean Trinkle, 73, of Salem, Illinois passed away December 14, 2021, at Twin Willow Nursing Center, her home for forty-four years, cared for by a loving staff of caregivers.
Born January 18, 1948, in Mattoon, IL, she was the daughter of Leslie Everett and Mildred M. (Holaday) Trinkle who preceded her in death.
Donna had a sweet, happy spirit, and loved her hair bows and anything that sparkled.
Surviving are her siblings, Gary Trinkle and wife Barbara of Kell, IL, Leslie Trinkle and wife Susan of Fairfield, IL, Allen Trinkle of Allendale, IL and Elaine Garlich and husband Larry of Nashville, IL, along with her nieces and nephews Joseph Garlich, Debra Gibbs, Anthony Garlich, Andrew Trinkle, James Trinkle, Benjamin Trinkle, Mary Jane Trinkle, Ian Trinkle, Amy Briggeman, Katy Trinkle, and Kary Trinkle. Donna also had twenty great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday in the chapel of Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Salem. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 am until the service hour at the funeral home.
