A 57-year-old Carlyle man received what State Police described as life-threatening injuries when his semi crashed on westbound I-64 at milepost 108 in Wayne County.
Preliminary investigation by State Police indicates Brian Pillow blew out the driver side steer tire, lost control, and drove into the median where the truck struck a group of trees before coming to a stop.
Pillow was flown to a Regional Hospital from the scene.
The crash occurred at 8:12 Monday night.
