A 30-year-old Centralia man was arrested Friday night on a felony drug charge after attempting to flee a traffic stop.
Centralia Police say they originally tried to stop TJ Shumley of West Broadway at Broadway and Hickory. He allegedly refused to do so until he pulled over on Randolph Drive.
While arresting Shumley for aggravated fleeing police, he was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia leading to arrest on the two drug offenses.
Shumley was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
