A 41-year-old Centralia man has been arrested on multiple charges after leading a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy on a brief chase on the Green Street Road before eventually stopping.
Emmanuel Neal was taken to the Marion County Jail for violation of bail bond, fleeing and attempting to elude police, resisting a peace officer, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and driving on a suspended license.
Sheriff’s officials say the bail bond violation was for being with a female passenger that had been prohibited as a condition of release on bond on another pending court case.
The chase began at 4:06 Wednesday afternoon near the Green Street and Norton Road intersection.
