Ronald Lee Marcum, 76, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:20 pm November 27, 2021 at his residence in Mount Vernon. Ronald worked at Mount Vernon Stove Foundry for many years. He was an avid woodworker and did all of the cutting for the family craft business. Ronald enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren.

Ronald married Becky (Thompson) Marcum on August 14, 1965. In addition to his loving wife of fifty-six years, Ronald is survived by his daughters, Donella Huffman of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Jennifer Lawver and husband, Luke of Mount Olive, Illinois; grandchildren, Dorothy Huffman, Sebastian Lawver, Lizbeth Lawver; sister, Sue Stallings of O’Fallon, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
He was born November 1, 1945 in Woodlawn, Illinois to the late Charles and Flora (Wiggins) Marcum. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings, Kelly, Jack, Albert, Charles, Norma Easley, Mary Fultz.
