Kimberly A. (Schwartz) Ioerger, 56, of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by the love and care of her family. She was born on December 7, 1965, the daughter of John Cato and Connie (Braddy) Schwartz.
Survivors that will remember Kimberly’s compassionate heart include her mother Connie Schwartz of Centralia; son Nathan Taylor and wife Elizabeth of Centralia; grandchildren Averie Taylor, Caiden Taylor, and Parker Taylor; stepfather Phil Schwartz of Centralia; brother Mathew Schwartz and wife Andrea of Centralia; brother Jason Schwartz and wife Becky of St. Louis; sister Tammy Loman and husband Mark Loman of New Baden; several nieces and nephews; very special, dear friend Amy Eubank of Olney.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father John Cato; grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Kimberly was the vice president of Operations at Gardant Management Solution of Illinois for 11 years until her retirement, due to illness. Kimberly was a natural caregiver, working as a registered nurse for many years providing the best care to grateful patients. She loved to relax on the beach, listening to the sound of the waves, collecting seashells, and soaking up the warmth of the Florida sun. Kimberly liked to spend time with her grandchildren, making sure they knew they were loved.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Rev. Fr. Steven Pautler officiating. Friends are welcome to a time to offer condolences to the family from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service on Tuesday at the funeral home in Centralia. Memorials may be made in Kimberly’s honor to the Donor’s Choice or the American Cancer Society.
