Bobby J. Angus, 67, of Sesser, Illinois, passed away at 7:47pm November 21, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Shores and Reverend Phillip Kennedy officiating. Bobby is survived by his children, Jennifer Angus of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Mary Beth (Beard) Newcomb and husband, Scotty of Centralia, Illinois, Kimberly Angus of Charleston, Illinois, Bobby Joe Angus, Jr. and wife, Sara, and Mark Angus and wife, Elisabeth of Whittington, Illinois; grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Carter, Xavier, Kyson, Lucas, Hailey, Jaden, Aiden, and Justice; siblings, Chester Angus and wife, Joann of Sesser, Illinois, Gary Angus and wife, Betsy of West Frankfort, Illinois, and Emerson “Buddy” Stacks and wife, Cheryl of Belleville, Illinois; brother-in-law, Paul Pankey of Belleville, Illinois; close friends, Ray and Dorothy Baxter, Paul and Carolyn Baxter, and Luke Baxter, all of Sesser, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
He was born August 3, 1954 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the late Chester and Martha (Stacks) Angus. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Pankey and Judy Greenwall.
