Jack Wayne Clark Jr., age 80, of Mt. Vernon passed away in his home Saturday, November 20th 2021 at 2:45pm with family by his side. Born in Noble Illinois, Jack graduated in 1959 from Noble High School where he was a star basketball player. Later in life, Jack developed a passion for golfing and fishing and loved being outdoors with family and friends any chance he could. Jack married Joyce Thomas July 28th, 1978 and moved to Mt. Vernon where they purchased Tile and Carpet Supply. Jack worked there until retiring in 2000.

Jack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce; daughter, Leann and husband Mark Williams; sons, Todd and wife Renae Clark, Justin Clark, and Jason and wife Carissa Clark; grandkids, Jeff, Brooke, Carrie, Derek, Brittany, Kiersten, Austin, Jack, Colton, Max, and Ethan; 11 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Patty Thomas; brother-in-law Charles Westall; and several nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Jack Lavora Clark; sister Sonya Westall; and brother-in-law David Thomas.
