John Amos Pflueger, 71, of rural Odin, went to his eternal rest at 3:10 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 11, 1950, in Centralia, son of Noawell and Mary (Donoho) Pflueger. He married Maryann Brown on September 4, 1986.
John is survived by his wife: Maryann and four children: Jonathan, Melissa, Matthew, and Sean; brother: Stephen Pflueger and wife Rosetta and sister: Dreama Phelps and husband Keith; two nephews: Jamie and Jeff Pflueger, and a great-nephew: Dillion Pflueger.
John was preceded in death by his parents and a niece: Lisa Pflueger.
John worked for Lear Siegler, Hollywood Candy Co., Security Guard and retired from Walgreens Manufacturing.
John was a loving husband, father, and brother. They all knew that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. He loved getting together with his family and sharing a meal and talking. He was an avid reader of books and loved keeping up with world events. He was an avid car enthusiast. John was dearly loved by his family.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia.
