Dorothy G. Schulte, 98, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 11:00 am November 10, 2021 at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Schulte was a member of Kirk of the Pines Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas and will be greatly missed.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Carol Mosley and husband, Gary of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Susan Naydenoff and husband, James of Wheaton, Illinois, Robin Rothamer and husband, Michael of DeKalb, Illinois; six grandchildren, Michael Mosley and wife, Kathy of Edgewood, Illinois, Tara Sanders and husband, David of Woodlawn, Illinois, Laurie Lofye and husband, Kurt of Frisco, Texas, Carrie Alberson and husband, Scott of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Sarah Klan and husband, David of West Chicago, Illinois, Carrie Wolfe and husband, Patrick of Fresno, California; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was born August 8, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jacob and Mabel (Dinse) Werle. Dorothy married Walter R. Schulte on February 19, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly seventy years of marriage before he preceded him in death on January 14, 2014. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Bedell and brother, Donald Werle.
