Shirley White, 80, of Centralia, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born January 5, 1941, in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Louis Beckley and Anna (Reynolds) Beckley. She married Bobbie R. White on November 4, 1961, in Mt. Vernon, IL and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2018, after 57 years of marriage.
She is survived by four children: David White and wife Cheryl of Irvington, Richard White of Centralia, Gary White of Centralia, and Tracy Gonzalez and husband Rudy of Centralia; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; a sister: Mary Weaver of Fairfield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Anna Beckley; husband: Bobbie R. White; and four brothers.
Family was the center of Shirley’s life. She cherished the time she spent with them and she will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Funeral Services for Shirley White will be held Friday, October 29, 2021, at 12:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. A Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
