The Salem Wildcats cross country team competed in the Cahokia Conference meet Saturday at Wesclin High School.
Freshman Ivy Donoho placed 10th earning her All-Conference honors. Jaedyn Goostree was
15th, Madison Smith 20th and Hannah Richardson was 22nd. As a team the girls placed 4th behind champions Freeburg, Breese Central and Columbia.
The boys placed 3rd as team behind champions Freeburg and Wesclin. Leading the way for the boys was Haddon Lybarger in 12th place. Alek Bandy was 13th, Rylan Crane 16th, Ricardo Salgado 17th and Creed Phillips 18th.
The next meet for both squads is the Regional meet hosted by Highland. The Wildcats want to wish Franklin Park Cross Country good luck at their upcoming state meet.
