The SC 13u Storm Chasers competed at Olney over the weekend. SC went 1-1 on Saturday opening with a 13-3 win over TTown. CJ Allison drove in 3 runs with 2 each from Chase Guerrettaz and Hunter Horn as well as Brody Collier. Also with RBI were Hudson Moore and Tyson Jones. Moore and Cam McGee combined for the win with Cam going 2 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run with 3 strikeouts.
SC then fell to the Central Illinois Elite 12-3. Allison and Guerrettaz drove in runs with Braden Rector adding a triple as part of his 2 hit game.
Sunday opened with an 11-6 win over the Fighting Squirrels. Trevan Sidwell drove in 2 with RBI also from Moore, Horn and Guerrettaz. Colton Rogers added a hit.
SC was eliminated in their 2nd game on Sunday losing to the Effingham Sandlot 11-3. McGee and Rogers drove in the SC runs.
