In IHSA girls tennis sectionals held this past weekend.
At Centralia, Triad won the event with 28 points to Olney’s 25 and Flora 19. Highland was 4th with 12 points followed by Centralia with 8, Salem was 6th with 6 points, Greenville, Vandalia and Hillsboro round out the top 8.
Carbondale won the Herrin Sectional with Benton tied with Herrin and Marion for 3rd. Mt Vernon was in a tie for 6th.
At St Anthony, it was TTown 1, the host Lady Bulldogs were 2nd 24-18 with Paris 3rd.
At Althoff, the hosts won the event 30-20 over Roxana with Mascoutah and Waterloo tied for 3rd.
