Barbara Sue Williams, 90, of Sandoval, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Charter Senior Living in Hermitage, Tennessee. She was born on June 26, 1931, the daughter of Glenn Spicer and Lillian Carter Spicer in Sandoval. She married Emil Williams on June 12, 1952, in Sandoval and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2010.

Survivors include her beloved family, daughters, Marla Williams of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jill Williams Frazier and husband Don of Wimberley, Texas; grandchildren Safari Williams of Nashville, Tennessee, Chelsea Frazier Snyder and husband Patrick of San Antonio, Texas, Alaric Frazier of Napa, California, and Austin Frazier of Dubai; and sisters Charlene Spicer Woods of Odin, Illinois, and Brenda Spicer Altadonna of Centralia, Illinois.

Along with her husband of 57 years, Emil Williams, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Glenn Spicer and Lillian Carter Spicer; brother Kenneth Spicer; and son Mark Williams.

Barbara was a wonderful wife and mother who was proud to support her family by caring for their needs and providing them a comfortable home. She will be remembered for her green thumb and love of flowers, planting gardens that brought her joy and beautified her home. Barbara was always ready for a shopping trip to search for treasures. She liked to travel and enjoyed sharing the experience of visiting a new place with her kids. She always chose family first and their times spent together made up her most precious memories. Barbara was a classy lady who loved her family deeply and shared her kind smile with everyone.

Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval is privileged to be assisting the family of Barbara Williams with arrangements. A private graveside service will be held at Sandoval City Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Barbara’s honor to the Family’s Wishes and will be accepted for the family at the funeral home.
