Doris June Sutherland, 85, of Centralia passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021. Doris retired from Hollywood Brands candy factory in Centralia where she was a loyal employee for 34 years and made many lasting friendships. Doris was a loving lady and a best friend to her sister, Leota. She had a kind heart and was always happy, ready to share her beautiful smile. Doris was a true animal lover, taking joy in feeding her birds and hummingbirds and watching them fly about her yard. She had a special place in her heart for her chocolate lab, keeping Moca supplied with love and treats. She liked to enjoy the gorgeous display of flowers in her yard and was especially proud of her rose of sharon, roses, and geraniums. Doris had a gentle spirt who looked for the best in others and in life. She will be missed deeply and remembered for her goodness. Doris’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Kathy Sparling for all the loving care she gave to Doris the last five plus years. She was a true angel for the care she gave to keep Doris comfortable and at home.
