Misty Jane Coughlin, 40, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, the result of an auto accident in Clay County, IL.
Born June 29, 1981, in Olney, IL, she was the daughter of Dewayne A. and Tammy J. (Lewis) Coughlin who survive.
Misty was employed as an asphalt worker. She was the former owner of Mom’s Maids. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Gillespie, IL. She dearly loved her children and family, She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her daughter Oliva, twin daughters Mykah and Makayla and their father Michele Huck, and her dear sister Chelsea Coughlin of Fairview Heights, IL, Also several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill and Norma Coughlin and Don and Martha Lewis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday at the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home in Salem with burial to follow in Lovell’s Grove – 1880 Cemetery, Omega, IL. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 am until the service hour on Thursday. It will be necessary due to the recent pandemic for masks to be worn during the visitation, and social distance respected at the cemetery.
