Russell Levato, 67, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 6:43 pm August 31, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. Russell had a deep passion for anything Elvis. He loved listening to Elvis music, watching Elvis movies, and had a collection of memorabilia he cherished. His favorite sports team was the Saint Louis Cardinals, of which he was an avid fan and supporter. Russell loved to dance around whenever he could. He was a wonderful friend and roommate to his peers. Russell always had a 10,000 watt smile and showed love so freely to all those around him. Russell touched countless lives during his lifetime with his open love and passion for life. He has left a deep impact on many hearts. He will be greatly missed, but wonderfully remembered.

He was born February 6, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Tony Levato and Olga Brysten.
