Susan Jane Crider passed from this life at 2:55 pm Saturday, August 28, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. She was 58 years old.
Susan was born October 9, 1962, to Robert and Norma Crider of Mount Vernon, Illinois. Susan is survived by her father, Robert; brother, Terry; sisters, Amanda Crider and Rachel (Crider) Austin; brother-in-law, Bryan Austin; nephew, Levi Austin; and niece, Lily Austin. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Norma.
Susan had a difficult life on this earth but her life mattered. She loved her family. She loved her cats. She had a big heart and always showed concern for others. She prayed for her family and prayed for those that she heard were in need. Even though she could not attend church, Susan enjoyed reading in the newspaper or various newsletters about what area churches were doing. Susan will be deeply missed by those who knew her. And we are awaiting our homecoming to be with her and mom again.
