Kent Easton, 71, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away on August 25, 2021, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born August 3, 1950, in Fairfield, Illinois to the late Allison Easton and Jean Hollinger. Kent married Sheree (Hunziker) Easton on April 23, 2005, in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with 16 years of marriage.
In addition to his beloved wife, Kent is survived by his children, Josh Easton and wife, Keli, Joey Easton and wife, Danielle, Kyle Ronat, Jordan Ronat and wife, Brittany, Ryann Stehley, and special friend, Emiliano Andrada, Tim Stehley, and Andrea Joseph; grandchildren Taylor Easton, Brennan Easton, Jace Easton, Preslei Easton, Esme Ronat, Emily Ronat, Jack Joseph, and Acee Joseph; sister, Pam Robertson, and husband, Scott of Mount Vernon; mother-in-law: Shirley Hunziker; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kent was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Deb Clark.
Kent proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon.
