2021 08/24 – Debra “Debbie” Diane Stuehlmeyer

Debra “Debbie” Diane Stuehlmeyer, 57, of Irvington, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon surrounded by her loving family. Debbie was a member of Eternity Baptist Church in Centralia. Her favorite scripture was Philippians 1:21 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain”. Her family and God were the two most important things in her life.

Funeral Services for Debra “Debbie” Diane Stuehlmeyer will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Karl Barnfield officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. A visitation will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. As a precaution, masks are encouraged during the visitation and service. In memory of Debbie, memorial donations may be made to Eternity Baptist Church for water wells and will be received by the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Stuehlmeyer family. She married Brent Stuehlmeyer on December 17, 1981 in Mt. Vernon and he survives her in Irvington. In addition to her husband Brent of 39 years, she is survived by three sons: Eric Stuehlmeyer and Sommer of Normal, IL, Jason Stuehlmeyer and Melody of Centralia, and Aaron Stuehlmeyer and Brittany Williams of Centralia; eleven grandchildren: Mallory, Payton, Jaxon, Harper, Adleigh, Hayden, Ryker, Caleb, Jeffrey, Bryce, and Abijah; she is also survived by two sisters.

Debbie was born March 3, 1964 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Alex Drust and Judy Obermeier.
