Police Beat for Saturday, April 9th, 2022

Salem Police have arrested a 24-year-old Troy, Missouri woman for possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.  Jessica Bornhop initially came into contact with police during a traffic stop for alleged speeding on West Main Street.   Police report a loaded handgun was located in the car leading to the weapons charge.   She was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Centralia Police have arrested a 47-year-old Centralia woman for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on an outstanding Clinton County failure to appear warrant on an earlier possession of meth conviction.  Misty Bounds of East 5th was taken to the Marion County Jail.  Bond on the warrant is set at $5,000.

State Police arrested 41-year-old Craig Wieber of Ryneyville, Kentucky on two outstanding Hardin County, Kentucky warrants that have no bond.

30-year-old Michael Holmes of East Alton was arrested at the courthouse on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on an earlier aggravated fleeing police arrest.   He posted $500 bond at the Marion County Jail and was released.
