Centralia Police say one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2nd and Maple Streets in Centralia late Thursday morning.
Police reports indicate a car driven by 85-year-old John Pryor of North Morrison in Central City ran a stop sign while southbound on Maple Street and collided with a westbound car on 2nd Street driven by 95-year-old Mary Plakoeic of Frazier Street in Centralia.
Plakoeic was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries while Pryor refused hospital treatment.
Pryor was ticketed for disregarding a traffic control device.
The crash occurred around 11 Thursday morning.
