Odin Police have arrested a 28-year-old homeless man for burglary, misdemeanor theft, and violation of the sex offender registration law.
Chief Joe Nix says Roy Cochran was located inside the former Jarnigan building on East Kirkwood in downtown Odin on Wednesday. He reportedly had picked the locks on the door to get inside and was burning the shielding off one of the rolls of copper wiring that had been left in the building. Cochran had not checked in on his location leading to the sex offender registration charge.
Cochran was taken to the Marion County Jail.
