The Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce will be honoring a number of businesses at the Annual Banquet to be held on New Year’s Eve at Castle Ridge.

The theme is ‘It’s About Time!’   It is being held in partnership with Castle Ridge’s ‘The Black Tie Event’.  Both events are open to the public and happening simultaneously.

Chamber Executive Director Marcus Holland says it is about time we celebrate businesses and recognize people who continue to move the community forward.

Three businesses will receive Partners in Progress Awards for their investment in Centralia for the past year.   They are Advanced Surgical Technology that has constructed a new facility on East McCord in Centralia, ConAgra Brands that has spent $10-million dollars in their Centralia facility that makes Duncan Hines products, and the Centralia City Grade School’s District 135 which is adding on to most of their buildings as well as battling COVID-19 during the past year.

Three other businesses are receiving Legacy Awards for their ongoing investment in Centralia.  They are SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Crooked Creek Crossing, Rosati’s, Best Western and Subway, as well as Castle Ridge, Stonewater Restaurant, and Gaetti Sports Academy.

Two more businesses will be honored on milestone years.   Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery is celebrating its 100-year organization and Jerry’s Grill and Bar is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Tickets for the chamber event are $50 per person and include a gourmet dinner, cocktails and access to Castle Ridge’s New Year’s Eve Party.  The ‘Black Tie Event’ will feature a champaigne toast at midnight.  ‘Black Tie’ is encouraged, but not required.

Major sponsors include SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Gonzalez Companies, Kaskaskia College, and Land of Lincoln Credit Union.   Other sponsorship opportunities are available.

Businesses are encouraged to reserve a table of eight for $400 or sponsor a VIP table for $1,000 that includes prime seating, recognition at the event, and extra drink tickets.  Attendees are asked to contact the chamber office to reserve tickets at 618-532-6789 or office@centraliachamber.com.
