Centralia Police are investigating an armed robbery at the VP gas station at 2nd and Elm downtown on Tuesday night.
Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson says a man with his face covered entered the store holding a pistol. He was able to flee on foot after obtaining a small amount of money from the cash register. The suspect was in the store for just about 30 seconds.
Dodson says the man was of average build and height and middle aged. He was also wearing a hoodie.
The robbery occurred at 9:55 Tuesday night.
