Iuka Grade School held a Veterans Day program on Wednesday that featured patriotic music from the school band and discussion with two veterans.
Sergeant First Class Tony Krajefska talked to the students about humility and selflessness of serving. All of the classes also had a Google Meet with former Marine and Iuka Student Clay Webster.
The Iuka Grade School Band played the National Anthem, each branch of the military songs, and the Illinois State song.
The program was also open to the public.
