(NEW YORK) — You may have noticed when filling up on gas or stocking up on groceries that prices for both essentials have gone up.
In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, food costs have risen nearly 2.5% from April 2020 to April 202.
So what’s behind the price hikes and what can you do about it? Stew Leonard Jr., the president and CEO of Stew Leonard’s, a supermarket chain, appeared of ABC News’ Good Morning America Monday to discuss the increases:
