The Class S Regional is being hosted at the Salem Little League Complex with semifinals played on Thursday. Odin/Patoka punched their ticket to Monday’s championship with a 10-0 win over Raccoon. Nolan Eddy went 3-3 to lead the Mohawks. Brody Spicer, Drake Carbaugh and Peyton Hyde each had multi-hit games for Patoka. Noah Cain was the starter allowing no hits and no runs over 4 innings. Spicer threw an inning of relief.
Patoka will play Selmaville in the finals on Monday after the Rockets beat Willow Grove/St Mary 12-0. The Rockets scored 11 runs in the third inning on their way to the win. Izac Holsapple went 1-2 and drove in 2 runs, Jacob Butts had two hits and Selmaville took advantage of 9 Wildcard walks.
The Region 7 title game is tonight with Summersville taking on Ewing.
Last night in Class M semifinal at Nashville, the hosts fell to Pinckneyville 10-0 and Sesser over Christopher 8-4.
In Region 7 at Aviston tonight the hosts take on Okawville.
Woodlawn won the Fairfield regional title 10-5 over Spring Garden.
