The Salem Community Theatre and Cultural Center will present its final weekend of performances of the musical “The Spitfire Grill” this weekend.
Directed by director and choreographer Matt Helton, “The Spitfire Grill” tells the story of Percy Talbott, played by Lauren Berry, who arrives in the struggling town of Gilead, Wisconsin, after being released from prison and searching for a fresh start.
When Percy begins working at the Spitfire Grill, her presence slowly brings buried hopes, secrets and wounds to the surface. As the townspeople confront their pasts and one another, they discover that redemption, forgiveness and a new beginning may be possible after all.
The final performances are tonight, Friday, September 18th, and Saturday, September 19th, at 7 p.m., with a final matinee performance Sunday, September 20th, at 3 p.m.
Adult tickets are $12, while student tickets are $8. Tickets are available at Salem City Hall, by calling the Salem Theatre Office, or online at salemiltheater.org.
