In Little League Softball at the Complex last night, Landers Towing defeated United Medical Response 12-7. Landers improved to 3-0 on the season. Maci Thorsen went 3-3 with 2 doubles, Kendall Zimmermann singled and Lauryn Mascareno also added a hit. Zimmermann and Reagan Shuler combined to throw a 3 hitter with 10 strikeouts. Kloi Spencer had 2 singles in the loss and Emma Jones also had a hit.
In Pony League action, Salem Tire was 8-7 winners over Peoples National Bank on a walk-off single by Colton Starnes in the final inning. Aden Bass, Micah Snyder each had 2 hits with Carter Lowe adding a double. Bass worked 3 innings in relief for the win. Jalen Inlow started allowing no runs in the first 3 innings with 6 strikeouts. Noan Nix singled twice for Peoples with Purcell, Avery and Payton Gullion each adding singles. Nix worked the first 3 innings and Purcell the next 3 combining to strikeout 15. Nate Paulson worked the final inning.
