Because of the storm damage, the city’s insurance will cover the cost of a roof replacement after the city pays a $10,000 deductible. The total cost of the roof replacement will be $392,649. The local contractor that installed the roof, Elite Contracting and Consulting, will be installing the replacement. The city’s new roof will be covered by a new 20-year warranty.
