A 75-year-old Vernon woman received apparent minor injuries in a one car crash on the Ballance Road between Willet and Whitehaven Roads in rural Vernon during the noon hour on Tuesday.
Vicky Heinrich of Davis Road told Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies she isn’t sure why she left the road, crossed the roadside ditch and then a culvert before entering a field. Heinrich became stuck in the field and had to be pulled out.
She was checked on the scene by Patoka Fire and Sandoval EMS.
