Today is the first of the two state championship football days at Hancock Stadium on the campus of Illinois State University.
The day begins with the 1a championship at 10 between Althoff and Lena-Winslow.
Then Maroa Forsyth takes on Chicago Christian at 1 for the 2a title.
At 4pm it’s the 3a title game between Monticello and Lombard Montini.
Then at 7pm, Mt Zion takes the field to play Chicago DePaul College Prep for the 4a title.
