Centralia Police has released information on a single-car crash Sunday night that sent three teens to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment.
The 17-year-old male juvenile Centralia driver told police he lost control when swerving to miss a deer on Gragg Street Road near its T-intersection with Country Club Road. The car went over Country Club, hit the ditch on the other side of the road, and came to a stop in a grassy area.
The driver along with a 15-year-old female passenger and 12-year-old male passenger, both from Centralia, were all injured and taken to the hospital. A third passenger was not injured.
The driver was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 9:37 Sunday night.
